Our Moisture sensors can be used to rapidly and precisely determine the water content within biomass and many other solids, for example building products – powder, and block form, cereal grain, beans and grass, leather and paper, also humidity levels. This can be achieved by discrete manual sampling or by installing an in-line measurement device that measures continuously or automatically samples and generates a reading.
In-line measurement works well for solid biomass used as a fuel to generate heat and electricity. Continuous monitoring of moisture levels enables process optimisation, maximum efficiency and cost savings.
