Reliable Mains Power for the Aranet Gateway Pro

The Aranet USB-C Power Adapter for Aranet Gateway is a dedicated USB-C power adapter designed to supply mains power to the Aranet Gateway Pro. It provides a stable 5 V DC output at 3 A via a USB-C connection, and accepts a wide input voltage range of 90 to 264 V AC, making it suitable for use across the UK, Europe, and other compatible regions.

Why It Matters

The Aranet Gateway Pro is not supplied with a power adapter, meaning a suitable USB-C power source must be purchased separately. Using an unspecified or incompatible power supply risks unstable operation, insufficient power delivery, or damage to the Gateway Pro. A purpose-designed adapter that meets the specific voltage and current requirements of the device ensures stable, reliable operation from the outset, with no risk of underpowering or compatibility issues.

The adapter connects to the Gateway Pro’s 5 V DC USB-C port and plugs directly into a standard mains socket. It has a no-load power consumption of 75 mW or less, keeping standby energy use to a minimum. The adapter is sold separately from the Gateway Pro and is available in European and North American plug formats. For installations where running a mains cable is impractical, the Gateway Pro can alternatively be powered via PoE using the IEEE 802.3af PoE injector.
