Extend Probe Reach for Flexible Sensor Positioning
The Aranet T/RH Probe Extension Cord (1m) is an accessory cable designed to increase the distance between the Aranet T/RH Probe Heavy Duty sensor transmitter body and its temperature and humidity probe. The 1 m extension allows the transmitter to be mounted in a convenient or protected position while the probe tip is placed at the precise measurement point required.
Why It Matters
In many installations, the ideal location for a sensor probe, such as within a specific zone of a cold store, close to a crop canopy, or inside a particular area of a processing facility, is not always accessible or suitable for housing the full transmitter body. Without extension cable options, installers must compromise either on transmitter placement or on measurement accuracy. Being able to separate the probe from the transmitter body gives far greater flexibility in achieving both reliable wireless transmission and an accurate, representative measurement position.
The extension cord connects between the probe and the T/RH Probe Heavy Duty transmitter body, adding 1 m of additional reach. Multiple extension cables can be used in sequence, up to a maximum total cable length of 10 m (including the sensor’s own cable) to avoid signal instability. A 5 m extension cord is also available for installations requiring greater reach. Compatible with the Aranet PRO monitoring platform and Aranet Cloud.
