Dedicated Mount for Non-Contact Plant Temperature Monitoring on the Tray Weight Frame
The Aranet Bracket for IR Plant Temperature Sensor is a purpose-built accessory mount designed to attach an infrared plant temperature sensor to the Aranet Tray Weight Sensor frame. It provides a stable, correctly angled mounting point for non-contact canopy temperature measurement alongside tray weight data, supporting a more complete picture of plant health and water status.
Why It Matters
Plant canopy temperature is a valuable indicator of crop stress and water balance. When combined with substrate weight data from the Tray Weight Sensor, it provides a richer view of how the crop is responding to its environment, allowing growers to detect stress earlier and make more informed irrigation and climate decisions. Without a secure, correctly positioned mount, the IR sensor cannot consistently capture representative canopy readings, reducing the reliability and value of the data it provides.
The bracket attaches to dedicated screw points on the Aranet Tray Weight Sensor frame, positioning the IR plant temperature sensor at the correct angle to measure canopy temperature directly above the substrate. Sensor mounts are sold separately from the Tray Weight Sensor and temperature sensors, and are compatible with Aranet Tray Weight Sensors ordered after 01 May 2025. Data integrates with the Aranet PRO base station and Aranet Cloud.
