Dedicated Mount for Adding PT100 Temperature Monitoring to the Tray Weight Sensor

The Aranet Bracket for PT100 Sensor is a purpose-built accessory mount designed to attach the Aranet PT100 temperature sensor to the Aranet Tray Weight Sensor frame. It provides a stable and correctly positioned mounting point, allowing growers to add substrate temperature monitoring to their tray weight setup without improvised fixings or additional infrastructure.

Why It Matters

Tray weight monitoring gives growers detailed data on substrate moisture and plant transpiration, but substrate temperature is an equally important variable that influences nutrient uptake, root zone health, and overall plant development. Without a dedicated mount, adding a PT100 sensor to the tray weight frame reliably and consistently would require improvised solutions that may compromise sensor positioning or data accuracy. A dedicated bracket ensures the temperature probe is always in the correct position relative to the substrate.

The bracket attaches to dedicated screw points on the Aranet Tray Weight Sensor frame, securing the PT100 probe at the correct height and angle for accurate substrate temperature measurement. Sensor mounts are sold separately from the Tray Weight Sensor and the temperature sensors themselves, and are compatible with Aranet Tray Weight Sensors ordered after 01 May 2025. Data from the PT100 sensor integrates with the Aranet PRO base station and Aranet Cloud alongside weight and other environmental measurements.
