Next Generation Flammable Gas Sensor Delivering TrueLELTM
NevadaNano’s Molecular Property Spectrometer™ (MPS™) Flammable Gas sensor ensures worker safety in potentially explosive environments and is certified as intrinsically safe. It is reliable, accurate, easy to implement and capable of measuring % LEL across over a single gas or up to a dozen of the most common combustible gases, including Hydrogen, Methane, Propane and Butane.
The MPS doesn’t drift, age or poison and is maintenance-free over its lifetime. It never requires field calibration. Should a fault occur, the MPS user software will immediately inform you of the issue and the reason why it’s occurred.
The MPS Flammable Gas sensors contain temperature, humidity and pressure sensing elements to compensate for measurement fluctuations caused by these environmental variables ensuring high accuracy is maintained and false alarms are minimised.
Sensor readings are output on a UART digital bus providing an industry -first gas classification or via a standard analog output to facilitate integration of the MPS into existing designs to improve measurement performance.
With it’s low power requirement of 29mW (average), low cost of ownership and long life (10+ years) the MPS is an excellent all-rounder flammable gas sensor.
Sensor platforms:
sensor platforms are ‘S4’ (Intrinsically safe)
A mini (non Atex) flammable gas sensor for IOT applications.
Variants within each sensor platform:
Series 3: For measurement in environments with a start-up in clean air
It will zero upon start-up and will not re-zero.
Series 4: For measurement in environments with a start-up in the presence of combustible gases.
It will NOT zero in the presence of combustible gas
Compliant to IEC 60079-29-1
Series 5 (note this is only available with the S4 platform): For measurement in environments with a start-up in the presence of combustible gases.
It will NOT zero in the presence of combustible gas
Compliant to IEC 60079-29-1
