Volume flow rate primary element for measuring flow rates in air ducts
Special features
- Measures at certain points in the middle of the duct
- No flow of the medium through the pitot tube, which means no deposits
- Can be used for contaminated media
- Fast measurement with repeatable measurement results
The pitot tube is an instrument for determining the flow rate at certain points in the middle of the duct (fast measurement with repeatable measurement results). Because there is no flow of the medium through the test set-up, dust is not deposited in the pitot tubes; it can therefore also be used in contaminated media such as waste gases containing dust or media with combustion residues.
